PhD Fellowship on waterborne polymer binders for sustainable high-energy Li-ion batteries

A PhD Fellowship is available at the Innovative Polymers Group in the Basque Center for
Macromolecular Design and Engineering, POLYMAT Fundazioa in Spain (www.polymat.eu) in cotutelle
with Deakin University in Melbourne Australia (https://www.deakin.edu.au/ifm). The
position is funded by ARC Centre for Future Energy Storage Technologies
(https://www.storenergy.com.au) and the project will be part of a larger consortium including
both industry and academia partners.
Applicants must have a BSc and MSc in Chemistry or Science with a strong background in Polymer
Chemistry and previous experience in Corrosion/Electrochemistry/Surface Science/Materials.
Good command of written and spoken English is a must (if preselected, a interview will be carried
out via teleconference before any other appointment is made). The selected candidate is
expected to conduct research, write papers, and deliver a PhD thesis.

(iii) A copy of all academic transcripts
(iv) Any evidence of English proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, PBT etc. IELTS Overall 6.5 no band
less than 6.0; TOEFL Overall 79, Writing 21)
(v) a short description of previous research (1-2 Pages).
(vi) the names and contact addresses (e-mail) of two academic referees.
